Since 2007, I have been immersed in photography and graphic design. Throughout high school, I spent any opportunity I had to be working on my skills, whether it be developing film and working in the darkroom, or editing and formatting yearbook pages. I feel so blessed to be able to do what I love every day.

Photography has helped me to see the world in a new way. It has taught me to notice details and people in a way that I never have before. A photograph has power to inspire action, initiate movement, bring back memories, and create passion without any words at all. It's a powerful tool and a seemingly innocent art that has the strength to influence thoughts and expose truths.

“Opportunity is missed by most people
because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.”
- Thomas Edison

I was taught from a young age to never shy away from an opportunity to learn, grow, and improve. Each of these opportunities help to mold and shape us into who we are and frame the way we view the world.

A few of these opportunities for me have been:

  • Event decorating/planning

  • Wiring/rebuilding dairy barn equipment

  • Baking and cake decorating

  • Waitressing

  • Traveling to England, Wales, Iceland, Costa Rica, and China to serve missions and children

  • Summiting two mountains

  • Coaching middle school volleyball

  • Painting houses
